Not exhibiting this year
I trained as a graphic designer, studying for four years at college, acquiring a degree in Art and Design before spending my working life in various design studios in and around London.
I have always produced my own work and have done so with no particular ambition other than the satisfaction of seeing it finished.
Quite a few years number of years ago I started producing three dimensional work, using old retail mannequins as a basis for my ideas.
Each composition is a statement that addresses a subject which, at the time, had some significance.
My production rate is not prolific but I have quite a few pieces which I have created over the years.
Several years ago, I displayed my work in a barn in Dorset, (somewhat off the beaten track!), but more significantly, in a venue and location not normally associated with art exhibitions.
The exhibition ran for two weeks, and in that time, BBC South and the Dorset Echo were interested enough to come and visit and to subsequently run pieces on their web sites.
My work is considered provocative, thought provoking and generally encourages debate. People who view it usually discuss the figures and the subjects.
